At a time when violence and extremism are surging in the West Bank, your leadership sends a powerful and necessary message: the United States will not tolerate violence from any party, and will hold accountable those who incite and commit acts of terror.

The West Bank Violence Prevention Act demonstrates the Congress’s clear commitment to human rights, peace, and the safety of all people in the region — Palestinians and Israelis alike.

This crucial bill would reinstate and codify Executive Order 14115, restoring vital tools to sanction those who perpetrate violence in the West Bank.

We are witnessing a wave of unprecedented settler violence targeting Palestinians. There were a record-breaking 264 documented attacks in October, resulting in widespread injury, destruction of homes and crops, and the displacement of families across the West Bank. And the violence continues to this date.

The United States must stand firmly against all forms of violence and extremism. By cosponsoring the West Bank Violence Prevention Act, you will help ensure accountability, protect human rights, and promote stability in the region.
